Biography
Bill has over a decade’s worth of experience developing innovative and award winning Corporate Responsibility and Social engagement programs. During that time he has worked with a wide range of national and multinational organisations in sectors such as banking & finance, FMCG, telecommunications, IT and health, with both B2B and B2C partners.
Bill’s passion for sustainability both social and environmental has lead to him to work with and provide advice to one of Australia’s leading NGO’s. Through his leadership they became one of the first NGO’s to embrace sustainability principles, developing integrated collaborative partnerships well before the label CSR was coined. They have become one of the best exponents of CSR in the community space, wining a number of awards (including the Prime Minister’s Community Partnerships) and building an enviable list of blue chip national and multinational corporate partners.
At present Bill is working on establishing sustainable social enterprises as well as providing strategic counsel on social engagement practices to the Edelman.
Bill is also currently a member of the national CSR industry body MOSS (Models of Success and Sustainability). Through his network Bill offers a strong knowledge base on best practice and international trends in stakeholder engagement, drawing on relationships with CSR and sustainability groups in the UK, USA, Middle East and Asia.
Bill holds degrees in Politics and Communications and is a long standing member of the FIA.
