Sustainability Launch

Looking for a catalyst to challenge everyone’s thinking about how to advance your workplace sustainability agenda?

The Sustainability Challenge, about to be launched nationally, is a training, auditing and strategic planning tool which offers an innovative, fun and highly engaging workshop to put all team members on ‘the same page’ and fire up serious action towards sustainable living! With the scale of climate change predictions growing by the day, and an ever increasing strain on resources, the need for change is accelerating. As more and more consumers, job seekers and voters place high value on sustainability, companies and governments are now finding this issue at the top of their strategic agenda.

But who has the time, and how can we actually do it?

“While many organisations are already implementing some great sustainability initiatives such as triple-bottom line reporting, we understand that changing the thinking and behaviour of all team members is another thing”, said Heather Price, director of Sustainability Challenge International “The Sustainability Challenge process is designed to win hearts and minds for the dramatic change required to start the journey towards post-carbon equitable living. It offers a fun way of developing your team’s understanding of environmental, social and economic sustainability issues”, said Price.

The Sustainability Challenge has been developed by Sustainability Challenge International utilising a diverse group of sustainability professionals, in partnership with the National Centre for Sustainability at Swinburne University of Technology and in association with Baker & McKenzie/LawInContext and Models for Success and Sustainability. Event hosting is sponsored by Baker & McKenzie, Holiday Inn Brisbane, RAC WA, and Hydro Tasmania Consulting.
